Fixing Trust Relationship Issue between Client and Domain

Method 1: Manual

Steps to resolve the issue:

1. Log in to the Local Admin account on the machine (Make sure IT has the necessary rights to log in to the Local Admin account. This account should only be known by IT, not shared with users).

2. Disjoin the computer from the domain.

3. Restart the computer.

4. Join the computer back to the domain.

5. Log in with the user's domain account (Double-check the user's account name on AD).

Method 2: Automatic

Create a PS1 file with following code

Reset-ComputerMachinePassword -Server dc01.gearhq.gearinc.com -Credential gearhq\adjoin

1. Log in to the local admin account on the computer.

2. Run the script with Admin rights in PowerShell.

3. Enter the Admin password.

4. Restart and log back in with the User's account.
